Business Development Executive

The Role

​Due to continued success, Sp1Solutions Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join our sales team. We are seeking out target driven individuals with a clear passion for building new relationships, seeking out new opportunities and managing a sales pipeline within the telecoms, IT and cyber security industry. You will be responsible for helping the department secure new contracts, build a pipeline of work and achieve its monthly sales targets. You would also be involved in preparing and updating the company's marketing and business development strategy. 

You will be consultative in your nature, and be confident in discussing the features and benefits of our Managed IT Service. Whilst we do not expect a technical background, as one of the key purposes of the role is to generate high-quality business consultations, you will need to be willing to develop and understanding of our products and services. Your focus will be on building valuable ongoing relationships with our prospects.

Key Responsibilities

  • ​Achievement of sales, pipeline and revenue targets through management of outbound B2B connections.

  • Identifying business opportunities

  • Assessing, clarifying and validating the prospect's technical requirements

  • Utilising Sp1solutions internal systems to prioritise work and maximise sales success to achieve strategic objectives and KPI's 

  • Diary management and management of other administrative functions

  • Attending regular project training sessions

  • Building a rapport with potential clients

  • Attending networking events

     

Essential Skills and Experience

Our ideal candidate will be an experienced Business Development Executive from a Managed Service Provider background or within the professional service industry (Eg. Legal/Accounting). You will be a motivated, natural problem solver with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A passion for IT and providing outstanding customer service is essential.
